Bethshan Gardens, Surrey, BC

Opened in 2009, in Surrey, B.C., Bethshan is a 72-bed independent living residence for seniors, with one or two bedroom suites for rent, first class accommodation that is in close proximity to neighbourhood, with medical and dental offices, library, stores, pharmacies, movie theatre, fitness centre, and pubs and casino and other services at hand. Overture’s Tom Crump was involved with the $9.8M construction build, in particular liaising with the construction manager to oversee the build-out, to know all systems before opening. He oversaw the leasing of kitchen equipment, implementation of the telephone system, initial hiring of staff and all marketing programs. The project was leased to full capacity in two years.
